Robert “Bob” Allen Prost

Robert “Bob” Allen Prost, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at the age of 76. Loving husband of 55 years to Roberta Prost; beloved son of the late Leo and Alberta Prost; devoted father of Dave (Lea) Prost, Bob (Mary Jo) Prost, Doug (Julie) Prost, Brian (Karen) Prost, Dan (Becca) Prost, Brad (DesiRey) Prost, and Dennis (Angela) Prost; proud grandfather of Lindsey (James) Craig, Dianna (Ryne) Watts, David Prost, Luke Prost, Kelli Prost, Bobby Prost, Emma Prost, Ava Prost, Avery Prost, Morgan Prost, Cole Prost, Bradley Prost, Dane Prost, Kaeden Prost, and Landon Prost; treasured great-grandfather of Braden  Howe, Zoey Craig, Cooper Watts, Riley Craig, and Chandler Prost; cherished brother of James (late Joan) Prost, Patricia (William) Mannion, the late Betty Lee Bertocchi, and the late William Prost; and dear friend of Jean Griffis. He is also survived by his honorary grandson, Adam Wilson, and numerous other family friends.

Bob was a member of Retail Union Local 655, and a volunteer at the Boys & Girls Club of St. Charles. Bob was a very hard worker who raised his 7 sons to have fantastic values. He loved being outdoors especially camping and fishing. He also enjoyed watching and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. Bob will be remembered for being humble and very dedicated to his family, anything he did, he did it for his wife and kids. He was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

Memorial contributions may be made in Bob’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
