Robert "Bob" Ray Cole Jr.

Robert “Bob” Ray Cole Jr., of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2024, at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Carol L. Cole; cherished son of the late LaVera and Robert Ray Cole Sr.; devoted father of Angela (Joshua) Bonstead and Stephanie Clark; loving grandfather of David Bonstead, Colbin Clark, Clara Bonstead, and Brody Clark.

Bob, a 1962 graduate of Lebanon High School, had a lifelong passion for science, which led him to the University of Missouri, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, followed by a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems from the University of Missouri - Rolla. He had a fulfilling career at McDonnell Douglas and retired from Boeing in 1999.

In June of 2024, Bob and his beloved wife, Carol Cole, celebrated 57 years of marriage, sharing a life full of love and adventure as they traveled the world together. Family and friends were at the heart of Bob's life; he cherished time spent at the lake with his family and maintained close connections with his childhood friends from Lebanon.

A Celebration of Life will take place at First St. Charles United Methodist Church, Saturday, August 31 at 2:00pm. Reception to follow in the church Atrium. Those who wish to honor Bob's memory, please donate to the charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.
