''Bob'', St. Peters, MO, December 29, 2006 age 65; loving husband of Carolyn Gevers (nee: Becker); devoted father of Dawn (James) Lentz and Greg Gevers; beloved grandfather of Melissa Bowman, Zachery & Jacob Robert Lentz; step-grandfather of James Lentz; great-grandfather of Zoe Lentz; dear brother of Gene Gevers, Maryann (John) Pastor, Judy (Harold) Echelcamp and the late Don Gevers; dear brother-in-law of Sandy Gevers. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews; preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Marie (nee: Janz) Gevers. Mr. Gevers was a member of Teamster Local #655, proudly served in the US Air Force, was an avid runner and loved to travel. Most of all, he loved being a grandfather. He was a Boiler House Mechanic with Boeing Air Craft for 40 years.
