Robert “Bob” Hoener

Robert “Bob” Hoener, of Winfield, Missouri, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021, at the age of 68. Loving husband of Mary Hoener; beloved son of the late Charles H. and Laverne L. Hoener; devoted father of Katie (Rob) Pacheco, Emily Hoener, JoAnn (Mark) Christensen, Chrissy (Nate) Spurgeon, Stephanie (Andrew) Miller and the late Andrew Hoener; cherished Paw Paw of Hailie Christensen, Mason Christensen, Landen Christensen, Kylie Ehrhard, Emmalee Spurgeon, Madelyn Pacheco, Izzy Spurgeon, Kammy Miller, Zoe Pacheco, and Keegan Miller; dear brother of Don (Darlene) Hoener, Doug (Sally) Hoener, Betty (the late Bill) Thompson, and the late Barb (John) Higgins.
Bob proudly and honorably served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He loved the outdoors and going boating, water skiing, and fishing on the river, especially the Mississippi River.
Bob loved his family and cherished spending time with them. His grandchildren were the light of his life, and he looked forward to attending their functions as much as possible. He was an avid sports fan and loved watching the St. Louis Cardinals, Blues, and any other sports in St. Louis.
Bob will be remembered for his big heart and loveable nature. He was a wonderful dad, husband, Paw Paw, uncle, and friend. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorial contributions may be made in Bob's name to Evelyn's House or Vietnam Veterans of America.
