Dear son of the late Arlie and Myrtle Lay; dear father of Sandy Patzner and Rob Lay (Suzanne); grandfather of Jake Patzner, Paige Goettsch, and McKenzie Lay; brother of Rosie Clark and Peggy Schramm. Survived by former wife and friend, Marilyn Lay . He was a loved uncle and friend to many. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
