Neumann, Robert C., of St. Charles, MO, passed peacefully into the arms of God on Monday, September 21, 2015, at the age of 84. Loving husband of the late Phyllis J. Neumann; beloved son of the late Charles E. and Clara M. Neumann (nee: Mueller); devoted father of Debra J. (Steve) Davis, Charles C. Neumann, and the late Keith R. Neumann; cherished grandfather of Robert R. Davis and the late Collin C. Davis; and dear father-in-law of Joyce Neumann.
As a young man he grew up in South St. Louis. He attended Immacolatta School, Ressurection of Our Lord, and graduated from Christian Brothers College High School. He was a graduate of the University of Missouri, Columbia, MO with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
Robert proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a Corporal in the Artillery Division out of Fort Lewis in Washington. He received the National Defense Service Medal, and served 5 years in the Army Reserves. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 1000.
Robert retired as Sr. Executive Vice President from EcoLab Consumer Division after 30 years of employment. During his tenure at EcoLab he received numerous awards and recognition. He was profiled in several industry publications as a leader in Sales and Marketing. After retiring from EcoLab he served as an executive consultant to Benckiser Consumer Products Inc. He had always had an entrepreneurial spirit, and after his consulting engagement he started his own company, RCN Products Inc. headquartered in Laguna Hills, CA for 10 years. After selling his successful RCN Products Inc., he and his wife Phyllis moved to Las Vegas, NV. While in Las Vegas, he operated RCN HomeWatch Service for several years.
During his life, Robert traveled the world for business and pleasure with his wife and family. He was an avid golfer, loved baseball; the St. Louis Cardinals and Los Angeles Dodgers. He also enjoyed going to the horse races. Robert was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
