Robert D. “Bobby” Place

Robert D. "Bobby" Place, of Troy, MO, passed away Monday, April 19, 2021 at the age of 65. Loving husband of Mary L. Place; beloved son of Thelma Jean Place and the late Russell Harold Place; dear brother of Russell "John" (Yvonne) Place, Connie (Dennis) Gamache, and Barbara Robertson; beloved PawPaw, uncle, and friend. Robert is preceded in death by his brother, Michael Place.

Bob proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Bob enjoyed a simple life that included hunting and fishing, and family. Family was very important to Bob, he loved them dearly. Bob was a selfless man who felt his true mission in life was to help others. He will always be remembered for his smile. Bob was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Robert's name to M.S. Society or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
