Robert D. Morrison

Morrison, Robert D., of St. Charles, MO, died August 23, 2008 age 90. Mr. Morrison resided at Wellington Assisted Living in Greeneville, TN at the time of his death. Loving husband for 66 years of the late Edna A. Morrison; son of the late Lester H. and Mabel (nee: Abercrombie) Morrison; father of Robert Q. Morrison (Barbara) and the late Kathleen Castle; brother of James M. Morrison, Ruth Siggemeier and the late Esther Michener; grandfather of Marcy (Robert) Fox, Wendy (Jonathan) Weyer, Greg Castle, the late Arthur S. Morrison, Kevin Stanley and the late Brad Stanley. Mr. Morrison was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, St. Peters, MO. He was an innovator in the fields of welding and liquid gases. He loved nature and donated hundreds of reptiles (mainly snakes) to the St. Louis Zoo. He also was an avid aviator and photographer.
