Robert David Beebe

Robert Beebe, age 37, died on December 19, 2008 in Tyler, TX. He was born on July 31, 1971 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the son of David E. Beebe and Marie (Weir) Beebe. Robert married Brenda Dixon Graham in 1999. He married Vanessa Kravitz in 2007 and moved to Tyler from San Antonio, TX. Robert grew up in a Military family. He lived in Indiana, Japan, Missouri and Louisiana. He graduated from Tara High School in Baton Rouge, LA in 1989. He entered the US Army and completed basic training and AIT at Ft. Campbell, KY. He was stationed at Baumholder, Germany and Ft. Stewart, Georgia. He was a tank driver and was deployed during Operation Desert Storm. His Army awards included the Southwest Asia Service Ribbon with 1 Bronze Star and The Kuwait Liberation Medal. Robert graduated from St. Phillips College in San Antonio in 1999 as an LVN. He has worked in health care since that time. He was most recently employed at Southwood Nursing Home in Henderson, TX. Robert is survived by his wife Vanessa; father, David Beebe of Great Bend, KS; daughters, Lauren and Katherine Beebe of San Antonio; his sister, Dr. Marjorie Beebe and his nieces and nephew, Hannah, Abby , Eve and Aaron Schifman, all of Great Bend, KS; paternal grandmother Mary Beebe Wylie, St. Charles, MO; maternal grandmother Rosalie Menzies Bishop, Miami, FL; step-sons Matthew and Jacob Kravitz, San Antonio. Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Beebe, who died September 8, 2008; both grandfathers and his brother-in-law, Brad Schifman. Memorial service and interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Charles, Missouri July 3, 2009. Cremation has already taken place.
