Beloved husband of the late Virginia Marie McKay; cherished son of the late Everest and Amelia McKay; loving father of Sharon Brooks (Matt Greco), Diane Foote (Mike), and Mike McKay (Melissa); proud grandfather of Tommy and Ben Foote and Josh and Alex McKay; dear brother of Elizabeth Whitfield, the late Harvey McKay and the late Alex McKay; dear father-in-law of the late Tommy Brooks. Mr. McKay retired from Carter Carburetor in St. Louis after serving 20 years as an Engineer. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, an honorary member of The Ballast Pits Club of St. Charles and a member of American Legion Post #312. He proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict.
