Robert Edward Oelklaus

OELKLAUS, Robert Edward, St. Peters, MO, May 14, 2007 age 77; dearest husband of Carol J. Oelklaus; dear son of the late Augusta W. and Walter G. Oelklaus; devoted father of Timothy A. Oelklaus, Paul T (Janet) Oelklaus and Rhonda L. (David) Woodruff; beloved grandfather of 4 and great-grandfather of 1; dear brother of Ruth L. Zeisler and Carol J. (Robert) Leffeler and the late Walter A. Oelklaus. He was our dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many. Mr. Oelklaus was an Aircraft Mechanic with McDonnell Douglas for 43 years. He was a member of American Legion #312, Wings of Hope at the Chesterfield Airport, District 837 Machinists I.A.M. He was a member of St. John U.C.C. and a member of the St. John's Choir, was a member of the St. Charles Saints RC Club, Mid-West Coinshooters and Historical Club and St. Charles Geneological Society. He also served in the U.S. Army.
