"Bob", O'Fallon, MO, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church August 14, 2007 age 74; dearest husband of Leta Ditmeyer (nee: Simmons), devoted father of Barbara (Larry) Lindsey, Daniel L. (Jackie) Ditmeyer, Jerome "Jerry" L. Ditmeyer, Darlene (Rich) Smalley, Mary K. Ditmeyer and Karen S. (Joe) Whaley; dear brother of Norman Ditmeyer (Deceased), Ralph (Betty Jo) Ditmeyer, Larry Ditmeyer (Deceased), Mary Ann Hrebec (Deceased); beloved grandfather of 6 and great-grandfather of 3. He was our dear nephew, brother, brother-in-law, cousin, uncle and friend. Bob was in the Navy and served in the Korean War before returning to St. Louis to begin a career as a barber. He went on to become a truck driver and retired after 27 years from Wetterau/SuperValue. Bob was a parishioner of All Saints Catholic Church, a Eucharistic Minister and an active member of Knights of Columbus Council 1587.
