Robert James Giery

Robert James Giery, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2024, at the age of 82. Cherished son of the late Stanley and Stephanie Giery; devoted father of Julie (Tony) Krane; loving grandfather of Lauren Krane, and Taylor Krane; dear brother of Patricia (Ken) Lundvick; uncle, cousin, and friend.

Robert, a proud and honorable individual, dedicated his service to the United States National Guard. In addition to his military service, he was a successful entrepreneur, running his own business specializing in industrial paint. His keen intelligence and affinity for math and probabilities were evident in his pursuits. Robert liked gambling, and enjoyed frequent trips to Vegas, particularly enjoying the Riverboat experience where he was able to show off his love of probabilities. His warm personality and contributions will be fondly remembered by those fortunate enough to have known him, and he will be greatly missed.
