Loeffler, Robert and Lucille Lucille Loeffler, of St. Charles, Missouri died on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at the age of 88 and Robert Loeffler, Sr. died on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at the age of 92. Lucille was the daughter of the late Perry and Gertrude (nee: Tipp) Montgomery and Robert was the son of the late Aloys and Gertrude (nee: Schrader) Loeffler. They are survived by their loving children Barbara J. Loeffler, Robert J. (Shirley) Loeffler, Jr., and Judith (Wayne Hetzler) Loeffler; their grandchildren Julie (Alan) Skrainka, Tammy (John) Benner, Lisa Meyer, Kevin (Linda) Schneider, James Follin, Connie (Mark) Gallagher, Carri Loeffler, Michael Hetzler, Steven (Lisa) Hetzler, and Alissa Easton and 21 great-grandchildren; Lucille's brother Maurice Montgomery, and Robert's sister Louanna Schlueter and brothers Henry and Eugene Loeffler. Lucille and Robert are both preceded in death by their granddaughter Kelly Follin. Lucille is also preceded in death by her siblings Gerald Dietz, Grace Goetges, Francis Dietz, Floyd Montgomery, Bernice Dickherber, Orville Montgomery, Oliver Montgomery, and Glennon Montgomery; and Robert is preceded in death by his siblings Viola Loeffler, Eleanor Cambell, Alfred Loeffler, Dorothy Bolte, Sr. Aniceta Loeffler, C.PP.S., Mildred Fredenberg, Lawrence Loeffler, and Charles Loeffler. Robert proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the American Legion Post #312 and Knights of Columbus #823. Together, Robert and Lucille devoted their life to St. Cletus Catholic Church and volunteering in their community. They volunteered with Meals on Wheels for over 20 years. Lucille was always a "Social Butterfly" and Robert was always a quiet man, but together they enjoyed many wonderful years together and had a wonderful family whom they loved deeply. They were both extremely loved and will be missed by all who knew them. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Cletus Catholic Church Masses or Meals on Wheels.
