Robert J. “Bob” Ruddick of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at the age of 77. Loving husband of 52 years to Sue A. Ruddick; beloved son of the late Raymond "Joe" and Mary Ruddick; devoted father of Trisha (Dennis) Hackman and Julie Stern; cherished grandfather of Jackson, Maddie, Taylor, Gabe, and Lola Pepper; dear brother of Jim (Betty Lou) Ruddick; dearest father-in-law of Randy Stern; and brother-in-law of Kay (Ben) Parker.
Bob proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a hard worker and dedicated more than 32 years before retiring as a Regional Sales Manager with Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. He was a true family man who cherished his family and spending time with them. His grandchildren held a dear place in his heart, and he was very involved in their activities.
In his spare time, Bob enjoyed golfing, fishing, and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals. He was one-of-a-kind with a personality bigger than life, and his spirit and zest for life had a great impact on those he met. One of his true gifts was his ability to communicate his love to others, and he always made others feel welcome. He celebrated life fully and always looked forward to happy hour with family and friends. Bob was dearly loved, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

The family will hold a Celebration of Bob's Life on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 3-5 pm at Heritage of Hawk Ridge Club House, 235 Pigeon Drive, Lake Saint Louis, Missouri 63367.
