Robert J. Uhlis

Uhlis, Robert J., of St. Peters, Missouri, baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection, asleep in the arms of our Lord on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at the age of 79. Robert was the beloved husband of the late Lila Rose Uhlis for 56 years. Robert is survived by his two children, Cindy (Dick) Asquith and Tom (Connie) Uhlis, both of O'Fallon, MO; five grandchildren Nichole (Chris) Orbin, Tommy (Kelly) Uhlis, Jr., Aaron Asquith, Kyle (Elisa) Uhlis, and Lindsay Asquith; and six great-grandchildren Brooke, Kylie, Ashlan, Avery, Rocco, and Paige. Bob's career in television spanned over a 50 year period and touched the lives of so many individuals in his field. He dealt with all the major television networks in the United States. He became a St. Louis icon for remote television production which also included the BBC in London and Japanese Television Networks. His warm heart and sense of humor will be remembered by all who knew him. We will miss him dearly, but smile because he has joined the love of his life, Lila. We now have two special Angels.
