Robert H. Johannesman

Robert “Bob” Henry Johannesman, of St. Peters, Missouri, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2025, at the age of 88. Loving husband of Marilyn J. Johannesman; beloved son of the late Henry Johannesman and Rose Pieper; devoted father of Eric (Shannon Lamkin) Johannesman and Mark (Denise) Johannesman; cherished grandfather of Alec Johannesman, Spencer Johannesman, Emma (Caleb Cooper) Johannesman, and Anna Johannesman; dear brother of Alice (Charlie) Vogelgesang and the late Betty Meier. 

Bob was a man of faith and a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. He always looked forward to spending time with his family and truly enjoyed visiting with both his and Marilyn’s relatives at larger family gatherings. Never hesitating to answer a call for assistance, he had a knack for coming up with creative solutions for even the most mundane of problems. When Bob and Marilyn retired, they enjoyed traveling together. They took two trips each year to just drive all over and take in the sights. They visited forty-nine of the fifty states and also drove into Canada and Mexico. Nova Scotia was one of their favorite destinations.

Bob took great care of Marilyn in her later years and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Memorials may be made in Bob’s name to the American Cancer Society or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
