Robert Joseph Yanuzzi

Robert Joseph Yanuzzi, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Monday, December 14, 2020 at the age of 79. Beloved son of the late Dominic and Agnes Yanuzzi; devoted father of Lynn (Scott) Paul, Richard Yanuzzi, Diane (Chris Phillips) Novak, Louise Yanuzzi, and Marie Yanuzzi; cherished grandfather of Dalon Severance, Wyatt Severance, Jennifer Yanuzzi, Stephanie Yanuzzi, Richard Yanuzzi, Kaylie (David) Bailey, Chelsey Novak, William Novak, Aaron Khalfin, Alicia Yanuzzi, Jason Phillips, Owen Hough, and Bennett Hough; treasured great-grandfather of 14. Robert is also preceded in death by his sisters, Lorraine Bender, Debra Yanuzzi, his brother, Ronald Yanuzzi, and his beloved dog, Mickey.

Robert served on the Auxiliary Police Department in New Jersey. Robert also worked for JCPenney for 30 years and still held close friendships with many of his colleagues. He was a true patriot and supported all first responders and military organizations. Robert was always willing to help someone in need. He spent his life mentoring his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He had a passion for the hunt and preservation of antiquities. Robert loved vintage cars, classic movies, the ocean, the sun, and fishing. Robert was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gary Sinise Foundation, The American Cancer Society, Wounded Warrior Project, or the USO.
