Robert "Bob" Krone

Robert “Bob” Krone, of O'Fallon, MO, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2025 at the age of 83. Loving husband of Nancy Krone; beloved son of the late Lester H. and Florence Krone; devoted father of Wendy (Jeffrey) Yates, Andrew (Kathleen) Krone, and Julie (Kurt) Soell; cherished grandfather of Nathan (Alyson) Yates, Ashley (Caleb) Adkins, Annalie Krone, Emmelia Krone, Elliana Krone, Adaline Krone, Mitchell (Susana) Soell, and Evan (Rachel) Soell; treasured great-grandfather of Rowan Yates, Colton Yates, Brayden Adkins, Weston Yates, and Liam Adkins. Preceded in death by his brothers, William Krone and Lester Krone.

Bob was married to Nancy for nearly 60 wonderful years. He dedicated most of his career to McDonnell Douglas as an engineer before retiring from Bank of America. A true outdoorsman, he had a deep love for fishing, camping, and canoeing. He also found joy in traveling and took great pride in supporting his grandchildren, never missing their sporting events. Bob was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Memorials may be made in Bob's name to Dardenne Presbyterian Church.
