Robert L. “Bob” Porter , age 80 of St. Charles, Missouri passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2018. Beloved husband of Carol Porter for 62 years. Cherished son of the late Victor and Ruby Porter; devoted father of Bruce Porter, Gail Porter, Kirk (Maryanne) Porter, and Chad( Susan)Porter; loving grandfather of Danielle (Ken) Millett, Sean (Laura) Kiernan, Sarah (Chris) Jones, Brett Porter, Brian Porter, Blake Porter, Kaitlin Porter, Jill Porter, and Alexandra Porter; treasured great-grandfather of Mason, Avery, Macklin, Jillian, and Tucker; and dear brother of the late Victor Porter, Jr. and the late Charles Porter.
Bob was an electrical engineer for Wegman Electric for 31 years before his retirement. He enjoyed target shooting and playing the stock market. Bob took pride in his yard and always kept it pristine. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
