Robert Lewis

Robert Eugene Lewis, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Monday, January 9, 2023, at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Connie J. Lewis; cherished son of the late Garnett Cargill and Elsie Louise Lewis. Devoted father of Sean (Lisa) Lewis and the late Troy Lewis; loving grandfather of Lucas Riebeling and Amelia Lewis; dear brother of Monica (Roger) Banister and Mark (Mona) Lewis; dedicated uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Bob’s career dedicated 55 years of service in the airline industry, working with Ozark, TWA and American Airline. His strong work ethic and dedication earned him numerous achievements in his industry. Bob was a sports enthusiast and especially loved his hometown teams. He was a history buff, even a member of the Smithsonian Institue and the History Channel. He enjoyed reading about ancient times, world religion and culture as well as Civil War material, enjoying anything he could learn or add to his vast knowledge. Often, you could find him working on a crossword puzzle. Bob was a family man and loved them more than anything. He enjoyed all their time spent together building such wonderful memories. Bob was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Bob's name to the St. Louis Zoo.
