Robert Martin John Zerr

Robert Martin John Zerr, of St. Charles, MO, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the age of 82. Loving husband of Elke Zerr; devoted father of Thomas Zerr and Robert Zerr, Jr.; stepfather of Denise Burt, and Diana Patrick; dear brother of Edgar Zerr and Betty Hahn. Robert is also preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Zerr; stepson, Russell Burt; sisters, Mary Burkemper, Carol Krautzer; and brother, John Zerr.

Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. He was a union carpenter his whole life and he took great pride in his work. Robert enjoyed going hunting and fishing. He loved music especially artists like Johnny Mathis and Julio Iglesias. He also liked country music and dancing. Robert was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
