Beloved husband of Jane Fagen; devoted father of Jane Shelburg (Jerry), Peggy Elliott (Larry), and Virginia Fagen; dear grandfather of Steven, Scott & Mark Shelburg, Tim Elliott, Cindy Fuhs, Jennifer Kihm, Matt Wiener, great-grandfather of Brad & Jeff & Sarah Shelburg, Brandon & Loring Shelburg, Alex Fuhs, Sophie, Charlie & Tess Kihm, Ethan and Aidan Wiener. Preceded in death by parents, Lester P. and Alice Fagen; sister, Alice Askew; brother, Glen Fagen. Dr. Fagen was an orthopedic surgeon at Mt. Clemens General Hospital. He was in general practice and orthopedics in Des Moines prior to moving to Michigan. he was a life member of the American Osteopathic Association and former President of American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He was a resident of Parkside Meadows.
