Robert Owen Freeman

Freeman, Robert Owen, of O'Fallon, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at the age of 83. Born November 30, 1930; loving husband of Dorothy Freeman (nee: Butler) just 12 days short of 63 years of marriage; beloved son of the late Hobart and Catherine Freeman; devoted father of Joseph (Valerie) Freeman, Terrye (James) Mock; cherished grandfather of Joel H. Freeman, Jordan (fiancée Bart) Freeman, Bradley (Sarah) Mock, and Emily (Adam) Heinlein; dear brother of Katherine and life long friend and brother-in-law Ross Hill and Barbara (the late Richard) Frish. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his siblings Charles "Buddy" Freeman, Norma Vestal, Rose Michel, and Gary (the late Susan) Freeman.
Robert was the former Chief Pilot of Alton Box Board Company, he graduated from UMSL with a B. S. in 1997, and he was a member of Shriners International-an endowed member of The Grand Lodge #80.
