Robert R. “Bob” Burns

Burns, Robert R. "Bob", of St. Peters, Missouri, died on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at the age of 70. Dearest husband of 47 years to Mary A. Burns NEE: Brown; dear son of the late Raymond R. and Margaret Regina Burns; devoted father of Robert W. (Joanne) Burns and Ronda C. (John) Haight; beloved grandfather of Robert Michael Burns, Brayden Andrew Haight and Jayce Johnathon Haight; dear brother-in-law of Patricia Ann Brown; also survived by a host of many, many friends. He is preceded in death by Father and Mother-in-law, William and Mary Brown. Bob was employed as a Logistics Engineer with Boeing. He proudly served 24 1/2 years in the U.S. Marines as a Master Gunnery Sergeant, having served 2 tours in Vietnam. He was President of the St. Peters Lions, a member of the St. Charles Harley Club, "Hog" and the St. Charles Honda Club. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Peters Lions Club, Wounded Warriors or American Cancer Society.
