Robert R. “Bob” Skoba

Skoba, Robert (Bob) passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2011, at the early age of 48. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Jacque; their three children, Ashley, Tracy and Austin; loving parents John and Joanne Skoba; brothers, John (Barb) Skoba, Mike (Gwenan) Skoba, and Rich Skoba; and countless nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Bob was a loving husband and devoted father. His children were his world. He enjoyed sharing his passion for fishing and exercise with his kids. Whether he was fishing with Ashley, setting up a work out routine for Tracy, or spotting Austin as he began weight – lifting, his kids were his pride and joy. Bob loved the outdoors, fishing at Mark Twain Lake, playing sports with the kids, or fetch with his dogs Shadow and Riley. He loved his fishing trips with his brother, Mike, always competing for the biggest catch and the most fish. Bob’s life was cut short but his spirit, his memory and his love will live on through his children. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Missouri Department of Conservation or to the St. Luke’s Hospital Cancer Center.
