Robert “Bob” Samuelson

Robert “Bob” Samuelson, 94, of Wentzville Missouri passed away peacefully on December 24, 2023.  Bob was born June 20, 1929 in Wabasha Minnesota to Donald and Fern Samuelson.  Bob is survived by his current wife Phyllis; three children from his first marriage: daughter Rebecca (Tom) Dawson-Edinger, sons Charles Samuelson and Donald (Nita) Samuelson; five grandchildren: Jessica (Brian) Crump, Lynn (Bryant) Jones, Lisa Ryerse, Nicholas (Emily) Samuelson, Samantha Dawson, Michael Samuelson, and Mary Samuelson; and six great grandchildren: Nathan Crump, Chezney Crump, Cody Crump, Jack Jones, Parker Jones, Daniel Jarquin, and Aurora Ruyle.  He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife LaCreta, brother Charles (Dorothy) Samuelson, brothers-in-law Gene (Wanda) and Dean (Betty) Jackson. 

Bob was an active member of the Wentzville Baptist Church.  He proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War stationed in Texas and Mississippi teaching avionics instrumentation repair.  After receiving a degree in Aeronautical Engineering in 1954, Bob worked for McDonnell Aircraft as a Flight Test Engineer in St. Louis and later as a Program Manager in Madrid Spain until his retirement in 1991.  Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, travel and playing golf.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
