Robert "Bob" Scanlon

Robert Doyle Scanlon, of Steelville, MO, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2024, at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Patricia Scanlon; cherished son of the late James and Lucille Scanlon. Devoted father of Kimberly (Robert) Donald, Robert (Cynthia) Scanlon, Gregory (Jaclyn) Midgett, and Patrick Boulton; loving grandfather of Em, Jakob, Carli and Ryder Donald; Will, Hannah, and Charlie Scanlon; Emily and Jaxson Midgett, and Kyndall Bovinett; dear brother of Gale Lorenz, Ray Whitworth, and the late Jim Scanlon; son-in-law to Margaret Midgett; special friend to John and Kenny Belding, the Bass Family; dear brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many. 

Robert found immense pleasure in hunting and being surrounded by nature. His affection for his animals and the life on the farm was undeniable. Above all, his heart swelled with love for his cherished family and friends. Robert was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Robert's name to the Missouri Conservation Department.
