Robert George “Bob” Soos, of Bradenton Beach, FL, passed away Monday, October 16, 2023, at the age of 82. Beloved husband of the late Donna Ann Soos; cherished son of the late Joseph and Anna Soos; devoted father of Lauri (Dan) McVey, Lisa (Archie) Counts, Linda (Scott) Lemen, Amy (David) Barla, and Debra (Gerry) Starr; dear brother of the late William "Bill" Soos; loving grandfather of Ashley (Adam) Estep, Megan (Justin) Edwards, Molly McVey, Clay (Lauren) Counts, Bradley (Alicia) Keiser, Anna (Cameron) June-Lemen, Emily (Tyler) Kildow, Abigail (Domenic) Barla, Madeline (Matthew) Barla, David Starr, Emma Starr, and Charles Starr; precious great-grandfather of William, Lucy, Rae Lynn, Wesley, Wagner, Alivia, Oliver Jackson, Carson, and Clay; and brother in law of Debra (Ron) Politte.
Bob, a diligent and dedicated family man, found immense joy in his career as a stockbroker, earning the prestigious title of Broker of the Year in 1993. He cherished globe-trotting adventures with his beloved Donna and dear friends, relishing moments of dance with his wife and golf games at Lake Forest and Key Royale Club. Monday night gatherings at "Church" and card games with his close-knit group of friends brought him great delight. Above all, his profound love for his family defined him, and his memory will forever be treasured by those fortunate enough to have known him.
Memorials may be made in Bob’s name to American Cancer Society.
