Robert Sutphen

Robert Willard Sutphen, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2024, at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Kathleen Sutphen; cherished son of the late Henry Louis and Muriel Elaine Sutphen. Devoted father of Kim (Joker) LeBrun, Melanie (Paul) Dinneweth, and Mark (Caren) Hoerchler; loving grandfather of Boland LeBrun, Amber LeBrun, Elijah Dinneweth, Rylan Dinneweth, Leah Hoerchler, and Justin Hoerchler. 

Robert was a man driven by his passions, finding joy and fulfillment in a wide array of interests and commitments. He cherished his family deeply and held a strong sense of patriotism. His love for nature was evident in his hobbies of fishing, boating, and gardening. An avid traveler, he embraced new experiences wherever he went. His work was another source of pride, as was his beloved big truck. Robert had an eye for photography, a taste for good food, and a fascination with ham radio. College football Saturdays were a highlight for him, as were quiet moments spent with his cats. His faith was central to his life, expressed through his active involvement in his church and his newfound faith in Christ. Robert was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
