Robert S. Tucker

Robert S. Tucker, of O Fallon, Missouri, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2023, at the age of 99. Beloved husband of 77 years to Verna K. Tucker (nee: Hart); cherished son of the late Joseph and Irma Tucker; devoted father of Peggy (the late Herman) Bauer, Robert (Mary) Tucker II and James (Peggy) Tucker; loving grandfather of Stephanie, Brian, John, Erin, Justin, Michael, Kim, Mark, Melissa, Brandi, Monica, Robbie and BJ; treasured great-grandfather and great-great grandfather to many; dear brother of the late Marwyn Tucker, the late Mildred Yonkers, and the late Virginia Tracy. 

Robert proudly and honorably served in the 8th Air Force during World War II. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local 36 for over 75 years. Robert was also a part of the Sheet Metal Retiree Club and Dance Club. In his free time, he enjoyed gardening, fishing and bowling.  

Robert was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
