Robert W. Hauser

Hauser, Robert W., of St. Louis, Missouri, died on Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at the age of 79. Loving husband of the late Shirley R. Hauser (nee: Knepper); dear son of the late William and Marie Hauser; devoted father of Kurt (Janet) Hauser, Mark (Sherry) Hauser, Paul (Nancy) Hauser, and Dr. Gary (Mary) Hauser; cherished grandfather of Cynthia, Victoria, Kayla (Lucas), Aaron, Bryan, Shannon, Conner, Emily, Jaime, Jack, Jenna, and Jonathan; and dear brother of Nancy Scurlock, William Hauser, and the late Mary Ann (Jason) Smith.
Bob proudly served his country in the U.S. Army directly following the Korean Conflict. He then worked for Ameren UE for over 40 years. After retirement, he went to work for his son, Paul and Nancy, at Hauser Mechanical Inc. He was a leader for the Boy Scouts of America, during the years that his sons were in the Scouts. He watched as his sons and 2 grandsons became Eagle Scouts, and was later a recipient of the Silver Beaver Award and Order of the Arrow Vigil Award. Bob dearly loved his family and cherished every moment with them. He will truly be missed.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Boy Scouts of America, American Heart Assoc, or American Diabetes Assoc.
