Rocky Nelson

Rocky Lane Nelson, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2023 at the age of 67. Cherished son of the late Orville and Irene Nelson; devoted father of Rocky (Cheryl) Nelson, Heather (Tim) Scheuermann, Andrew (Hiral) Nelson and the late Justin Maynard; loving grandfather of Emily, Ellisa, Hailey, Corbin and Aubrey Nelson, Ambellina Miles, Lana Maynard, Ashiyana and Eshaan Nelson; Rocky is also preceded in death by his siblings, Doris Ann Nelson, Betty Foust, Margaret Forney, Catherine Creech, Genevive Nelson, Joe Nelson, Dennis Nelson, Mike Nelson, Sr., Kevin Nelson, and Rodger Dale Nelson.

Rocky was a boom truck operator for many years until an accident forced his retirement. He loved softball, he played professionally as a young man and even coached girl’s softball for many years. In his free time he also enjoyed watching college football, horse racing and especially Cardinals baseball. Rocky was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Rocky's name to Shriners Childrens' Hospital.
