Rodger Dale Young, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Friday, September 17, 2021 at the age of 72. Rodger was the son of the late Lewis and Ella Young. He was the beloved husband of 36 years to Becky Young; dear brother to Susan (Michael) Boyd and the late Janet Young; Brother In-Law to Mary Wieler; devoted uncle to Annie, Adam, Solo, Andrew, Celine, Theresa, TJ, and Christian; and great uncle to many. Rodger is also survived by his two cat companions, Lily Belle and Buddy.
Rodger proudly and honorably served in the United States Army. He dedicated over forty years as a Lab Technician at Sensient Technologies. Rodger will be remembered for his kind and caring personality, always putting others first. He enjoyed camping and spending time with family and friends, especially his nieces and nephews. Rodger was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in Rodger 's name to Stray Rescue of St. Louis.
