Rodney Bingaman

Rodney Earl Bingaman, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at the age of 67 following a brief battle with cancer. Rodney was a cherished father to Justin Bingaman and Cody (Chrissy) Bingaman; grandfather of Carter Bingaman; treasured brother to David (Sarah) Bingaman, Mark (Sandra) Bingaman, and Deborah (Steve) Bingaman;. Rodney is preceded in death by his parents Paul and Penny (Ogg) Bingaman, sister Diana Goodloe, and former spouse Diane (Gilmore) Bingaman.

Rodney graduated from Saint Charles High School in 1974 where he was voted as “the kindest guy”. Rodney went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Computer Science from The University of MO- St. Louis (UMSL). Rodney was known for his empathy and love for others and used this skill to work the crisis hotline where he saved countless lives. He was always willing to help someone in need. Whether it was helping move furniture or paying someone’s bills, he was a cheerful giver. He was also known to have a great sense of humor and loved to make jokes. Rodney worked for Edward Jones for 21 years as a systems analyst and retired in 2017.

Rodney enjoyed playing table tennis where he earned a regional championship, wood working, collecting items, gardening, music, and his bearded dragon. Rodney was a fierce advocate for environmental conservation and was passionate about reusing and recycling. Rodney was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
