Roger Craig Curren

Roger Craig Curren, of O'Fallon, MO, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Patricia Curren; cherished son of the late Cardwell and Grace Curren; devoted father of Brenda Otey and Cindy (Donald) Ostrander; loving grandfather of Trisha Fernandez, Alishia Fernandez, Kyle (Hayley) Surdyke, Kelsey (Jake) Cobb, Jacob Ostrander, and the late Justin Fernandez; treasured great grandfather of Hannah, Elijah, Nathan, Rylee, Leila, Audrey, Faith, Abigal, Bentley, Isaiah, Leelind, Stetson, Baylor, Crew, Kennedy

Roger was married to the love of his life, Patricia, for 61 years, and together they cherished every moment, always holding hands and enjoying each other’s company. Known for his sharp sense of humor, Roger had a knack for fixing antique clocks and old cars, proudly owning a 1977 Chevy truck. A remarkably intelligent man, he could build or repair anything. He deeply loved his home and land, as well as his beloved bird, Pete, who was with him for 45 years, and his loyal dog, Teddy, who was never far from his lap. A devout Christian, Roger was ordained as a Baptist deacon and had a strong faith in the Lord. He was known for his honesty, never sugarcoating the truth, and for his generosity, always willing to help those in need. Roger was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
