Roland “Mike” Meier

Roland “Mike” Meier of Saint Louis, MO, passed Monday, April 30, 2018, at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Maudanna “Marty” Meier; cherished son of the late Roland R.H. and Winona Meier; devoted father of Brent Meier and Donna (Mike) Smith; loving grandfather of Nathan Yeager and Nichole Sansone; and dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

Roland proudly served in the United States Army. He attended Zion Lutheran Grade School then graduated from Central High School. He invested his time with racehorses, managed Brittany Acres, and owned and operated Meier Drayage Company. He also enjoyed vacationing in Florida. Roland will be remembered for his strong faith, hard working personality, and being a positive role model to all taken under his wing. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made to Chapel of the Cross Lutheran Church- St. Peters in Roland’s honor.
