Ronald Dale DeSplinter, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the age of 85. Loving husband of the late Alvina "Vindy " Marie DeSplinter; beloved son of the late Charles F. and Ruth DeSplinter; devoted father of Kevin (Joan) DeSplinter, Randy (Laura) DeSplinter, and Becky (Andy) Holtgrieve, cherished grandfather of Katie (Dominic) Grossman, Eric (Kelly) DeSplinter, David DeSplinter, Adam (Alyssa) DeSplinter, Austin Holtgrieve, and Drew Holtgrieve; treasured great-grandfather of Chyler DeSplinter and Lindy Grossman; dear brother of Ted (Janet) DeSplinter; brother-in-law of Venita Ewing and Gene (Phyllis) Eilers; beloved uncle and friend.
Ronald was a member of First United Methodist Church St Charles as well as longtime member of St. Charles Municipal Bands. He was a very caring man. Ronald loved music and played Trumpet. Ronald was known as “Mr. Fix It," he could make or repair anything. He graduated from Parks College with a BS in aerospace engineering and was employed for 35 years with the U.S. Army. He was instrumental with development of preventative maintenance programs for helicopters. Ronald was very active and athletic, he enjoyed golfing, swimming, and bowling. He was a very devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Ronald was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

St Charles Municipal Bands.
