Ronald Ormsby Sr.
June 10, 1947 — May 10, 2022
Ronald George Ormsby Sr., of Foristell, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 22 at the age of 74. Loving husband of the late Doris Ormsby; devoted father of Ronald G (Michelle) Ormsby Jr. and Matthew Ormsby; loving grandfather of Megan, Anna, Hattie, and Ava Ormsby; dear brother of Phyllis Egland and Kenny Ormsby. He was also preceded in death by his parents, George and Hattie Ormsby; his siblings, Jim Ormsby, Larry Ormsby, Wanda Fleetwood, and Ruth Ann McAnally; and his infant son, Kevin Ormsby.
Ronald was a proud veteran, serving in the Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for McDonald Aircraft, then Boeing, for over 30 years. Ronald was an outdoorsman at heart; he loved fishing, hunting, gardening, and camping with his wife and family. Ronald and Doris traveled all around the world before her passing in 2018. He was the most loving grandfather. Ronald was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in Ronald's name to the Wounded Warrior Project.
