Ronald “Ron” E. Lovercheck
December 20, 1954 — April 15, 2022
Ronald “Ron” E. Lovercheck, of Wentzville, MO, passed away Friday, April 15, 2022, at the age of 67. Beloved husband of Janet L. Lovercheck; cherished son of the late Albert and Helen Lovercheck. Devoted father of Janice (David) Schurwan and Matthew Lovercheck; loving grandfather of Jordyn Lovercheck, and twin granddaughters, Hannah and Natalie Schurwan; mother-in-law, Mary Catherine (the late Benjamin) Guzdial; Father-in-law, the late John Michael Zugmaier; dear brother of Edward (Cheryl) Lovercheck and the late Kathryn (the late Otis) Edwards; beloved brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
Ron proudly served in the United States Navy. He was a member of UAW Local # 2250 Labor Union Wentzville, MO. Ron was a very generous, caring, loving and compassionate person. He enjoyed sports, music and movies. Ron’s hobbies were fishing and scuba diving. He was a lifelong lover of dogs (Dog dad of Jiggs, Abby, Ginger, Teeko, Amy, Shadow I, Jax, Shadow II, Rosie, Cooper, Annie, and Bentley). Ron was extremely devoted to his family. Many memories were made with family and friend’s gatherings. Ron was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in Ron's name to ALS Association St. Louis Chapter.
