Ronald "Ron" Allen Long

Ronald “Ron” Allen Long, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Monday, September 18, 2023, at the age of 70. Beloved husband of 40 years to Karen Long; cherished son of Patricia Long and the late Robert Long. Devoted father of Josh (Ashley) Long, Ric (Kimberly) Massman and Dan (Donna) Massman; loving grandfather of Kinsey Long, Blake Massman, Parker Massman, Lauren Massman, Braydon Massman, and Kalynne Massman; dear brother of Donna Heiser; uncle, cousin, and friend. 

Ron was a faithful member of Our Savior Lutheran for 17 years, previously at St. Johns UCC. He actively participated in various church roles, including choir, was an usher, committee membership, church missions, and outreach efforts. Ron was a history buff and loved watching John Wayne movies, Old Westerns and learning about the Civil war. He also enjoyed a good joke and liked watching the Three Stooges. In his free time, Ron enjoyed long walks through nature with Karen and seeing new places. 

After working alongside his father for over 25 years, Ron owned and operated Bobs 66 Service Station until retirement. He not only tended to the vehicles, but also cared for the needs of every customer that he served. Ron displayed an exceptional work ethic and unwavering dedication to supporting his family. He was selfless, very dedicated to providing to his family, and always putting others first. Ron was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

Memorials may be made in Ron's name to Our Savior Lutheran or the American Heart Association.
