Ronald “Ron” Wheeler

June 14, 1936 — January 17, 2022

Ronald “Ron” Wheeler, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022 at the age of 85. Loving husband of the late Laura Wheeler; beloved son of the late Rosco and Lillian Wheeler; devoted father of the late Michael Mayhall, Sr.; cherished grandfather of Michael (Shannon) Mayhall, Jr.; treasured great-grandfather of Michelle and Madison; dear brother of the late Keith Wheeler.

Ron proudly served his country as a telecommunications operator in the United States Army. Ron retired from General Motors and was a longtime member of UAW. He was a member of Senior Softball Circuit and was a Golden Games Participant in St. Charles.

Ron was very active all his life and enjoyed a good run. He loved playing softball, volleyball, and dancing. Ron loved sports, especially the St. Louis Cardinals. He also enjoyed cooking for friends and family as well as tending to his garden. Ron was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
