Ronald “Ronnie” Schlechta

January 20, 1972 — August 28, 2020

Ronald “Ronnie” Schlechta, of Bridgeton, MO, passed away Friday, August 28, 2020 at the age of 48. Cherished son of Betty Ingram and the late Ronald Schlechta; devoted father of Randy Schlechta; adoring grandfather of Sophia and Carter; dear brother of Robin (Dana) Young; treasured uncle of Heather, Hannah, and Casey; dear cousin and a friend to many.

Ronnie was a supportive father who raised his son all by himself. He loved the outdoors, riding motorcycles and traveling to any destination that had water. Ronnie was a hard worker and a proud owner of Schlechta Fencing for over 25 years. He followed his father’s footsteps from assisting him with Quality Fencing, and then inspired his son to establish Stronghold Fencing. Ronnie enjoyed spending time with family and adored his grandchildren. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Ronnie's name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research.
