Ronald L. Sims

Ronald Lee Sims, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024, at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Paula Sims; cherished son of the late Raymond and Rosa Sims. Devoted father of Ronald (Deanna) Sims, Jr., and Bobbi Canseco; loving grandfather of Ernest, Herbert, and Kayla; and a host of great grandchildren; dear brother of Robin (Richard) Shivley and Regina (Mike) Nichols, Preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond (Paula) Sims Jr. and Randy Sims.

Ron proudly served in the United States Navy for 4 years and worked in law enforcement for 30 plus years. Throughout his 25-year marriage, he often spoke of Paula as his soulmate, with whom he cherished moments traveling to destinations such as Mexico and Jamaica alongside their loved ones. Ron had a passion for the outdoors, particularly fishing, which he indulged in both recreationally and in his earlier years through boating and various outdoor pursuits. He had a knack for storytelling, delighting those around him with his narratives. Ron was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
