"Ron", of St. Peters, Missouri, died on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Lavina "Louise" Gowen; dear son of the late Arthur A. and Jean F. Gowen; cherished father of Michael "Mike" (Lisa) Gowen; loving grandfather of Natalie Gowen; dearest brother of J.R. Gowen and the late Robert Gowen; beloved brother-in-law, uncle, and friend. He was employed as a Vice President of Sales at American Freightways in St. Louis, MO. Ron previously worked for for Jones Truck Line for 30 years and was a member of First Baptist Church St. Charles, MO. He was a devout Christian who lived his life according to the word of God. A devoted husband, father and grandfather, he was a leader, role model and mentor to his family.
