Ronald William Slovacek

Ronald William Slovacek, of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away Monday May 7, 2018, at the age of 73.  Loving husband of almost 52 years to Glenda C. Slovacek; beloved son of William J. and Irene Slovacek; devoted father of William Slovacek, Tracey Tipton and Melissa Eikel; cherished grandfather of Brittany Tipton, Cory Tipton, Lily Eikel and Aislynn Maxey; treasured great-grandfather of Jadyn Kessler, Ava Horine, Liam Horine, Patrick Horine and Aubree Tipton; dear brother of Tina (Howie) Brotherton, Vicki (Tom) Looser, and Kirt (Sharon) Slovacek.

Ronald proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.  He retired from Monsanto/MEMC after more than 44 years with the electrical maintenance department.  He enjoyed duck hunting with his black lab, Schroeder.  He truly cherished spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.  Ronald was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
