Rosa Ballester

Rosa Catalina Ballester, age 81, came to the USA from Cuba in 1966 as a young woman. Leaving behind her parents, sister, friends, and country, she gave up much to seek a better life in Miami, the San Francisco Bay Area, and finally, the St Louis area. Despite many hardships, she made lifelong friendships wherever she went. Rosa is survived by her loving spouse Rafael, her beloved sons Roland and Ivan Ballester, her daughter (in law) Christina Ballester, and three grandsons, Christian, Nicholas, and Alexander whom she adored.She is loved by so many diverse relatives, neighbors, and friends who were near and dear to her heart. Rosa’s positive energy, radiant smile, immense charm, deep faith, and love for everyone will remain an eternal memory for all she touched. A memorial service will be held in her name with details to follow.
