Rosalie Provost of O’Fallon, Missouri passed away Saturday, January 29th, 2022, at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Paul Provost; cherished daughter of the late Sylvester and Antionette (nee Bartosk) Naumann; loving mother of Anthony (Kathy) Provost, Theresa (Thomas) Bruns, Noreen (Steven) Mueller, Sandra (Edward) Deeken, Rhonda (James) Cates; proud memere of 17 grandchildren Melinda, Jacob, Trent, Tyler, Benjamin, Grant, Avery, Sydney, Paige, Zachary, Lukas, Nathaniel, Maxwell, Kasey, Patrick, Mason, and Cameron and two great-grandchildren, Audreanna and Carter. She is also survived by 5 siblings, Elizabeth Moore, Shirley Fogg, Eugene Naumann, Sister Marie Antoinette and Barbara O’Neill.
Rosalie is preceded in death by her siblings, Kenneth Naumann, Mariam Marks, Donald Naumann, Jeannette Steffe, Bernard Naumann, and Jacqueline Dye.
Rosalie was a devote Catholic. A long-time parishioner of St. Lawrence the Martyr in Bridgeton, Missouri where they raised their 5 children. After moving to O’Fallon, Missouri, they joined Assumption Catholic Church. Rosalie enjoyed her family surrounding her. She enjoyed watching and playing any kind of sport or game. The many that knew her would agree that she had a fun and loving soul. Rosalie created a warm and welcoming home where the door was open to anyone. Her house was filled with memories of friends and family coming by to play cards, share a beverage or simply to say hello. Rosalie was dearly loved by countless family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
