Wyhs, Rosalie, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at the age of 90. Loving wife of John Wyhs; beloved daughter of the late William and Sophia Kaase; devoted mother of Nancy Wyhs and Bruce (Carolyn) Wyhs; cherished grandmother of Teresa Tulipana and Laura (Keith) Grochowsky; treasured great-grandmother of Ian and Erin; special cousin of Don Greene.
Rosalie was a lifelong resident of St. Charles and graduated from St. Charles High School. She attended Sanford Brown Business College and was a bookkeeper and secretary at Brucker Motors before her children were born. She then became a homemaker. Rosalie was a lifelong member of St. John United Church of Christ in St. Charles were she was a Sunday school teacher when her children were young. She was a 50 year member of the Heatherbrook Extension Club/F.C.E. and a member of Golden Triangle Investment Club. For many years, she coordinated the 'Books for Newborns' literacy project for St. Joseph Health Center, sponsored by F.C.E. She also received the Missouri Heart of F.C.E. award in 2012. She enjoyed many happy times with family and friends at the house on the Lake of the Ozarks. Rosalie was very devoted to caring for her family.
