Rose Marie Riley

Rose Marie Riley, 84, entered into eternal peace on Friday, March 19. 2010. She enjoyed moving and decorating her numerous residences, especially their condo in Sister Bay, Wisconsin. Rose Marie was artistic and, for a period of time, owned a ceramic store in St. Louis. She traveled in their RV throughout the United States and Canada with her husband of sixty-four years. Rose Marie and Bob also took a memorable vacation to Switzerland where they met their grandson, Marcus, who was stationed at the Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany. In addition, she enjoyed solving word puzzles, gardening, and caring for her pets: Gizmo, Vinny, and Jackson. Rose Marie lived a full life, and she will be missed by those who loved her. She was the beloved wife of Robert Riley Sr., the cherished mother of Robert (Jane) Riley and Jeanne Chavers, the loving grandmother of Jason Chavers and Marcus (Tracy) Chavers, and the proud great-grandmother of Mason and Riley. She was the dear sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, and friend to many who will miss her and the joy she shared. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society or the American Lung Association.
